Diff Anything is a local-first compare and merge tool that picks an engine to match the input: syntax-aware code, semantic JSON and YAML, spreadsheets cell by cell across CSV and Excel, PDFs, and images.
It is for developers who find a line diff hides the real change: folder trees, ZIP, 7z and RAR archives by content hash, API diffs and three-way merge. Nothing is uploaded; no telemetry.
The free tier handles files up to 5 MiB and 10 sessions a day. Pro is a one-time $22.99 in-app purchase adding saved profiles, folder sync with undo and the full CLI. macOS 13+; also on Windows.
