Submission guidelines

• A real, shipping macOS app. A working download or purchase path, a current build, and evidence it is maintained: release notes, a changelog, an App Store listing or a public repository with recent activity.
• A job worth doing. The app solves a specific problem clearly and does it better, faster or more thoughtfully than what macOS already does or what is already listed here.
• Craft. A considered Mac interface, honest system requirements, sensible performance and a design that looks like someone cared. Real screenshots of the real product, not mock-ups.
• A person behind it. A named developer or company, a contact route, a privacy policy and a website that describes the product in specific terms.
• Honest, specific copy. Claims we can verify on your site. Pricing that matches your checkout. A product name, not a slogan.

Include the app name, canonical website URL, concise tagline, full description, current pricing, primary category, minimum macOS version and your contact details. Tell us if the app is open source, available through Setapp or the Mac App Store, or has an affiliate programme.

Provide a square app icon and a landscape product image. For the cover, 1200 × 630 pixels is preferred; 2400 × 1260 is ideal for high-density screens. Use PNG, JPEG or WebP, keep files below 2 MB, and submit only artwork you have permission to share.

Free submissions join our waitlist. Review may take six months or longer, with no guaranteed review date, publication date or acceptance. Editorial inclusion is based on usefulness and fit. Priority review has a one-time fee, shown on the submission page and at checkout. We review your app within 48 calendar hours of verified payment, including weekends. Payment covers review only and does not guarantee publication, homepage placement or a Featured badge. Featured apps are selected editorially. If we miss the review deadline or reject the submission, a full refund is due. Existing sponsored subscriptions retain their original terms. Commercial relationships must be disclosed as described in our affiliate disclosure.

Submitting an app means accepting our terms of use, including the permissions and responsibilities for supplied artwork and information. Contact details, uploaded files and payment information are handled as described in our privacy policy. We may remove inaccurate, unsafe or deceptive listings under those terms.

We may edit supplied text for clarity, house style and accuracy. If pricing, ownership or availability changes, please contact us so the listing can be updated.
