Mac Apps Daily is operated by the team behind Mac Apps Daily (macappsdaily.com), based in Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us through the contact page.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you submit an app on behalf of a developer or company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Directory and editorial information

Mac Apps Daily is an independent discovery and editorial service. Listings, descriptions, pricing and compatibility information are provided for general information and may become outdated. Verify important details with the app developer before downloading or purchasing an app.

External apps and websites

Apps and websites linked from the directory are operated by third parties. We do not control their software, availability, security, billing, licences or privacy practices, and a listing is not a warranty or endorsement.

Affiliate links and paid placements

If you follow an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not determine which apps we list, recommend or rank. Many listed apps have no affiliate programme. Revenue helps fund the directory. Priority review pays for review only and does not buy publication, a recommendation or Featured status. Separate paid placements are clearly labelled “Sponsored”. We disclose affiliate relationships on the site and in relevant editorial notices. Read our full affiliate disclosure.

Priority review

Priority review is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The price is shown on the submission page and at checkout. We review your app within 48 calendar hours of verified payment, including weekends, and communicate a decision or any information needed to complete the review. Payment covers review only. It does not guarantee acceptance, publication, homepage placement or a Featured badge.

Featured status is an editorial decision based on usefulness to readers. Selected apps may rotate through homepage placements. Paying for priority review does not influence selection. If we miss the 48-hour review deadline or reject the submission, a full refund is due. Refund processing time depends on the payment provider. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer-protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Submissions

Free submissions join our waitlist. Review may take six months or longer. There is no guaranteed review date, publication date or acceptance. We may prioritise submissions based on editorial needs.

You confirm that information and artwork you submit are accurate and that you have permission to provide them. You grant Mac Apps Daily a non-exclusive licence to edit, display and distribute submitted material for operating and promoting the directory. We may reject, edit, unpublish or remove a listing at our discretion.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from material you submit that infringes a third party’s rights or that you did not have permission to provide.

Emails about your submission

When you submit an app, we may email the address you provide about that submission and listing. This includes confirmation, questions, requested corrections, review decisions, publication, and relevant sponsorship, billing or service updates.

Submitting an app does not subscribe you to newsletters or promotional emails. Those require a separate opt-in, and you can unsubscribe from them at any time. We may still send necessary messages about an active submission or paid service.

Our content and identity

Mac Apps Daily’s original writing, branding, interface assets and compilation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, icons and screenshots remain the property of their respective owners. You may link to our pages, but may not scrape, republish or misrepresent the service at scale without permission.

Intellectual property and takedown

We display product names, icons and screenshots to identify and describe third-party apps. If you own rights in material shown on the site and believe it is used without authorisation, contact us with details and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, probe it without authorisation, submit malicious or deceptive material, bypass rate limits, harvest personal information or use automated access in a way that degrades availability.

Cookies and analytics choices

Essential cookies and session storage support security and core site functions. Optional analytics runs only if you accept it, and you can reject or change that choice using the footer’s “Cookie settings” link. See the privacy policy for details.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Mac Apps Daily disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the directory, linked software or third-party services. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
