Mac Apps Daily is operated by the team behind Mac Apps Daily (macappsdaily.com), based in Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us through the contact page.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you submit an app on behalf of a developer or company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Directory and editorial information

Mac Apps Daily is an independent discovery and editorial service. Listings, descriptions, pricing and compatibility information are provided for general information and may become outdated. Verify important details with the app developer before downloading or purchasing an app.

External apps and websites

Apps and websites linked from the directory are operated by third parties. We do not control their software, availability, security, billing, licences or privacy practices, and a listing is not a warranty or endorsement.

Affiliate links and paid placements

Some outbound links may earn Mac Apps Daily a commission without changing the price you pay. Sponsored placements are recurring paid listings and are always labelled “Sponsored”. Payment purchases placement, not an editorial recommendation or ranking. A sponsored label ends when the paid subscription ends. See our affiliate disclosure.

Sponsored listings — billing and refunds

Sponsored placement is a recurring subscription of $80 per month, or the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe (via Stripe Managed Payments), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles billing and applicable taxes. We do not receive or store your card details.

• When it publishes. A sponsored listing publishes only after payment is verified and is always labelled “Sponsored”.
• Renewal. The subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel.
• Cancelling. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; your listing remains sponsored until the end of the period already paid for. A voluntary cancellation is not refunded for the current period.
• Removal for a breach. If we remove a listing for breaching these terms or our guidelines, we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period unless the listing was deceptive or unlawful, in which case we may withhold the refund.
• Service failure. If we remove a listing through our own fault or a genuine service failure, we will refund the current billing period in full.
• Consumer rights. Nothing here limits rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer-protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Submissions

You confirm that information and artwork you submit are accurate and that you have permission to provide them. You grant Mac Apps Daily a non-exclusive licence to edit, display and distribute submitted material for operating and promoting the directory. We may reject, edit, unpublish or remove a listing at our discretion.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from material you submit that infringes a third party’s rights or that you did not have permission to provide.

Our content and identity

Mac Apps Daily’s original writing, branding, interface assets and compilation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, icons and screenshots remain the property of their respective owners. You may link to our pages, but may not scrape, republish or misrepresent the service at scale without permission.

Intellectual property and takedown

We display product names, icons and screenshots to identify and describe third-party apps. If you own rights in material shown on the site and believe it is used without authorisation, contact us with details and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, probe it without authorisation, submit malicious or deceptive material, bypass rate limits, harvest personal information or use automated access in a way that degrades availability.

Cookies and analytics choices

Essential cookies and session storage support security and core site functions. Optional analytics runs only if you accept it, and you can reject or change that choice using the footer’s “Cookie settings” link. See the privacy policy for details.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Mac Apps Daily disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the directory, linked software or third-party services. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
