Designer, Photo, and Publisher are now one app, and it costs nothing. After Canva bought Serif, the whole suite was relaunched as a single free download in October 2025, and it remains a genuinely professional toolset for vector work, photo editing, and page layout.

I keep waiting for the catch, but the core tools are all here — the only paywall is on AI features, which need a Canva subscription.

For anyone who resented Adobe's subscription, this is the obvious first stop.
