About TetherShot

TetherShot grabs the real, full-resolution frame from a connected iPhone and saves a PNG to a folder you choose, copied to the clipboard too. Over USB setup is just trusting the Mac; over Wi-Fi it uses Apple's developer tunnel after a one-time pairing, even with the phone locked.

It suits iOS developers, designers and QA folks who need App Store assets or bug-report shots without AirDrop. Android phones work via ADB; there is a global hotkey and an optional menu-bar controller.

Free and MIT-licensed, installed via Homebrew or a universal DMG. No account or telemetry. macOS 14 or later.
